Welcome to the official registration page for the African Biology Olympiad (ABO). We're excited to have students from across Africa join us for this prestigious competition! Please follow the instructions below to register your school and students.

Individual Registration
Step 1: School Registration
  • School administrators/teachers are responsible for registering their students.
  • Complete the online registration form by providing the school name, address, contact details, and the number of students for each category.
    • Step 2: Student Details
    Enter the details of the participating students, including full names, grade levels, and category (Junior or Senior)
    Step 3: Payment of Registration Fees
  • Nigeria: Registration fee is N5,000 per student.
  • Other African Countries: The registration fee will be specified upon registration. Schools will receive detailed payment instructions.
  • Payments can be made via bank transfer or online payment through the ABO portal.
    • Step 4: Confirmation
    Once payment is confirmed, you will receive an email with login details for each student to participate in the online rounds.
    Who You Can Register?
    • Junior Category: Students in Year 7–9 (JSS 1–3)
    • Senior Category: Students in Year 10–13 (SS 1–3)

    Schools are encouraged to register a minimum of 5 students per category.
